Who we are

Subwoofer Plans ("we", "us") operates this website. We are the data controller for the personal data described below. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at privacy@diyaudioplans.com. We are based in the Netherlands and process data in line with the GDPR and the Dutch Telecommunicatiewet.

What we collect, and why

This site does not ask you to create an account or submit personal details. The only data we collect is anonymous usage measurement through Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and only after you accept analytics cookies. GA4 helps us understand which plans are popular and how visitors move through the site so we can improve it.

GA4 collects information such as the pages you view, approximate location (derived from a truncated IP address — your full IP is not stored), device and browser type, and the site that referred you. We do not use this data to identify you personally and we do not run advertising or remarketing cookies.

Legal basis & your consent

We rely on your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and the Telecommunicatiewet) for analytics cookies. When you first visit, analytics is switched off. We use Google Consent Mode v2, which means that before you accept, Google only receives anonymous, cookieless signals; advertising signals are always denied. Nothing that identifies you is collected until you click Accept.

You can withdraw or change your choice at any time using the Manage cookie preferences button (also in the site footer).

Cookies we use

Third parties & international transfers

Google processes analytics data on our behalf. Data may be transferred to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (Google LLC is certified) with Standard Contractual Clauses as a fallback. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Gumroad handles checkout when you click through to buy a plan. We do not set Gumroad cookies on this site; once you reach Gumroad, their own privacy policy applies.

Data retention

Analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which Google automatically deletes user- and event-level records. Aggregated reports may be kept longer.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time (see above). To make a request, email privacy@diyaudioplans.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
